      <image:caption>Having spent the last 7 years of my life travelling the world full time as a flight attendant, flying across the Atlantic through the night, crossing multiple time zones in one day and feeling the effects it was having on me, I became dedicated to looking after my physical and mental health along the way. Working for an international airline has enabled me to see the world, but more importantly it gave me the opportunity to experience the diverse ways of how to stay fit and healthy, and how to live well from all corners of the globe. From hiking Table Mountain in Cape Town, cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge to fitting in a short workout in a hotel room with just an 11-hour layover, I learnt to master the art of staying fit whilst on the road, finding ways to incorporate movement wherever possible, and learning why rest is as important when you’re always on the move. Yoga has been one of my escapes for many years, being lucky enough to practice with instructors from all walks of life, I have experienced many takes on the traditional practice, bringing home with me the pearls of wisdom and knowledge home from many teachers, from far flung places like Bali and Sri Lanka to the most westernised studios in LA and London.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Pursuing my passion for healthfulness, I decided to educate myself further and become a Personal Trainer in 2019 with NASM (National Academy of Sports) and in 2020 also enrolled in my Yoga Teacher Training, specialising in Vinyasa and Ashtanga in Portugal. I offer a bespoke and affordable online Personal Training experience to clients from all kinds of backgrounds. This allows my clients to train with me from anywhere in the world, at any time. Something that I am passionate about and have based my life around for so many years. I specialise in helping people like myself who travel often and seek to find that balance of enjoyment of travel while staying on top if their fitness goals. I also specialise in helping yoga practitioners build strength away from the mat so they can improve their physical practice and increase their stamina on the mat. By combining my sports education with the traditional ancient practice, I work to bridge the gap between functional movement to help injury prevention and improve mobility whilst still honouring the intention behind the practice.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>At Sun &amp; Salt Escapes, we are big on food! As yogi’s we try to adopt a diet that’s kind to animals, the planet but without forgetting to nourish ourselves! As a wellness retreat, all of our food is vegetarian or plant based and most importantly filled with wholesome and natural ingredients that will fill you with energy and goodness. Everything is made from scratch on site by our wonderful in-house chef, Alissa. Where possible we always aim to use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. A typical day look a little like this: Brunch: Smoothie bowls or pancakes with homemade granola and coconut yogurt, warm fresh breads, local preserves, fresh fruit, juices, teas and coffee. Afternoon tea: Freshly baked cake with fresh fruit and teas. Supper: Chermula aubergine bulgar wheat salad, topped with yogurt, beetroot dip, warm cumin flatbreads, cucumber and lambs lambslettuce salad followed by a dessert; sticky ginger cake and chocolate ginger truffles. Not only does our food look amazing, but it tastes delicious too, you will not think about vegetarian food in the same way ever again!</image:caption>
